Every few years, or even annually, most airlines introduce new products or services, earning them a place among the World’s 10 Best Business Class Airlines. Similarly, several aviation companies have upgraded their onboard experience, successfully gaining both popularity and reliability in the travel industry
British Airways
Years ago, British Airways’ Business Class, popularly known as Club World, revolutionized air travel by introducing lie-flat seats and the innovative ‘Yin/Yang’ seating concept. Today, however, the product feels outdated and has been outclassed by competitors. Over the past few years, airlines have upgraded their onboard experience to the next level by launching the Club Suite, available on the A350, B777, and B787‑9 aircraft.
In this suite, every seat comes with private doors for enhanced privacy, direct aisle access, fully flat beds, and a large 18.5‑inch HD IFE screen to ensure a joyful travel experience for passengers. Infusing a unique blend of elegance, comfort, privacy, and innovation, the cabin design feels modern and stylish, offering both classic British cuisine for dining and international options. The new suite has been retrofitted into 777s at Heathrow. But Gatwick‑based 777s, B787‑8s, and A380s are still operating with the older setup.
Focusing on global reach and premium service, British Airways Club Suite now competes with the world-class business class. While the experience is good overall, the airlines still need to make improvements in their dining and other onboard services, such as upgrading in-flight menus, refining cabin crew service, and offering more personalized touches. Only this way can they effectively challenge their opponents.
EVA Air
EVA Air is a Taiwan-based airline that markets its international Business Class product as Royal Laurel Class, balancing comfort, privacy, and attentive service, and it continues to impress passengers on long-haul flights with a truly restful experience. On the Boeing 777 and 787 aircraft, Club Suite seats are arranged in a 1-2-1 reverse-herringbone pattern. Along with the fixed panels in this layout, the design enhances privacy and personal space, giving passengers a more elite and exclusive feel.
To ensure convenience and organisation, a retractable armrest, a cocktail table, a shoe cabinet, and space for jacket hanging are included as thoughtful design touches. Ensuring global dishes such as lobsters and beef steaks, curating fine wines, and serving Fiji water together create an elite, premium dining experience throughout the flight. In addition to the unwinding experience throughout the flight, EVA Air passengers are offered exclusive amenities, such as kits, noise-canceling headphones, and comfortable pajamas, to help them sleep well on long-haul flights. The Club Suite ensures warm, professional cabin service throughout the Laurel Class, enhancing its elegance with easy reach. And that’s why EVA Air is often called the top airlines in the world for business class.
Air France
Air France has heavily invested in premium products, a perfect mix of French elegance, style, and comfort. These seats deliver a premium ‘Business Class’ experience, and if you go by what its regular travelers say, this is the best worldwide business class.

By incorporating modern design and personalized luxury on every long-haul flight, Etihad Airways sets its business class apart from the ordinary. Business Studios, the airline’s flagship product available on A380s and 787 Dreamliners, reflect style, simplicity, and functionality, arranged in the unique dovetail layout that truly maximizes passenger comfort and privacy.
Dine-on-demand services are available to Etihad passengers, allowing them to enjoy meals at any time from globally inspired menus. On the A380, an exclusive lounge located between First and Business Class accommodates up to six guests, adding a lot of cherry on top of the premium experience. The A350 is Etihad's latest flagship, launched in 2022, adding a new definition to the Business Class experience with a fresh design and enhanced passenger experience.
The most recent flagship of Etihad Business Class comes with 44 seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, and each seat comes with a privacy door. Comparatively, the A320 and 777 fleets are less glamorous than the A350, offering simpler, unrivaled products that match the same level of refinement and exclusivity.
